Manager, Billing Systems & Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) Operations Maxio Experience a must 100% remote
A growing technology organization is seeking an experienced Manager, Billing Systems & Q2C Operations to lead the ongoing development, optimization, and execution of its billing platform and end-to-end quote-to-cash processes. This role is ideal for a systems-savvy operator who thrives at the intersection of technology, process excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. The position reports to senior finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Billing System Implementation – Lead the rollout of a new Q2C platform, including configuration, data migration, validation, and end-to-end testing.
• System Administration – Serve as the primary administrator for the billing platform, overseeing configuration, user access, data integrity, upgrades, issue resolution, and scalability enhancements.
• Q2C Process Ownership – Manage the full lifecycle from quote through billing, collections, and revenue-related handoffs; ensure alignment with contracts, policies, and internal controls; partner with Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success on accurate lifecycle transitions.
• Operational Excellence & Controls – Develop standardized processes, policies, controls, and documentation; ensure compliance with GAAP and internal guidelines; monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Accounting on revenue alignment, with FP&A on forecasting inputs, and with Sales/RevOps to streamline GTM processes and accelerate the sales cycle.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in billing, finance operations, revenue operations, or similar roles. SaaS or subscription-based business model experience required.
• Hands-on experience implementing or administering quoting, billing, and/or ERP systems (e.g., Maxio, NetSuite, SFDC Revenue Cloud, Zuora).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience working in large, global, multi-currency environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Finance, IT, Sales, and Operations.
