The HT Group is partnering with a company within the insurance industry to find a LTC Claims Eligibility Specialist to join thier Long Term Care Department. In this role, you will investigate and review policies, determine eligibility for benefits, and create appropriate Plan of Care. **Must have Long Term Care (LTC) insurance/claims experience and benefit decision making experience to be considered**

$55-65k + bonus
Hybrid for candidates located in Austin, TX – open to remote if located in other states


  • Review and evaluate coverage and liability
  • Review relevant documents to determine eligibility 
  • Create appropriate Plan of Care in accordance to guidelines
  • Communicate claim information to all relevant parties
  • Document claim details accurately
  • Ensure compliance with laws and company policies


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience within insurance benefits and claims, specifically long-term care
  • 3+ years of experience with benefit determination/eligibility
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
