The HT Group is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire a Legal Operations Project Coordinator. This role reports directly to the COO and supports the operations leadership team, contributing to firmwide operational projects and practice-related initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing moving parts, improving processes, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced professional environment.

Direct Hire | Houston TX 77027 (Onsite) | $60-70k 
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support from planning through completion – coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation, tracking timelines, and monitoring budgets.
  • Serve as the main point of communication between attorneys, staff, leadership, and outside vendors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Assign and track project tasks, monitor deadlines, and identify risks or roadblocks.
  • Prepare clear status updates, reports, and summaries for leadership.
  • Maintain project logs and ensure action items are addressed.
  • Partner with Technology team to support implementation of legal tech tools, including AI platforms and dashboards.
  • Analyze data capabilities within firm systems and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with reporting for Executive Committee and Partner meetings.
  • Support process, policy, and efficiency improvements across the firm.
  • Handle special projects as needed.

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Prior project coordination or similar experience highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with data/reporting tools and general business software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and develop clear, useful reports.
  • Highly organized multitasker who can manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
