Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Level IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support to both in-office and remote end users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless operation of end-user laptops and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to end users, both in-office and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Assist users with laptop issues, including hardware malfunctions, software installations, and configuration.
  • Support end users in using various software applications and tools essential for their work.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Provide training and guidance to end users on best practices and efficient use of IT resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and other relevant technologies.
  • Manage IT hardware and software assets in Inventory System.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support, specifically with Microsoft 365 products (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues on end-user laptops.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
