Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to support a Security organization within a regulated banking and financial services environment. This role will partner closely with the Contract Program Manager and Security leadership to drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, maintain the team’s operating model, and ensure consistent communication, reporting, and delivery.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of Agile project management, organizational rigor, data analysis, and modern tooling experience, including the ability to create and leverage GPT-based solutions to analyze and interpret data.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Support the Contract Program Manager in delivering 4–5 concurrent Security initiatives
- Plan, execute, and track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Facilitate Business Continuity Plan (BCP) review meetings as part of project delivery
- Ensure projects align with Security governance, regulatory expectations, and enterprise standards
Agile Delivery & Operating Model
- Operate as an Agile practitioner/coach:
- Run sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
- Manage and prioritize the team backlog
- Track velocity, capacity, and delivery commitments
- Maintain and continuously improve the Security team’s weekly operating model
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze project, operational, and security-related data once reports are generated
- Identify trends, risks, and insights to inform decision-making
- Create and leverage AI/GPT-based tools to:
- Analyze datasets
- Summarize findings
- Support reporting and insights for leadership
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Draft clear, concise communications for stakeholders at multiple levels
- Prepare project updates, executive summaries, and operational readouts
- Coordinate across Security, Technology, Risk, and business partners
Training & Governance Support
- Maintain and track the annual Security training schedule
- Ensure training activities align with regulatory, risk, and audit requirements
- Support documentation and evidence collection as needed
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Project or Program Management, preferably supporting Security, Risk, or Technology teams
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including sprint execution and backlog management
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working in the banking and financial services sector
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven data analysis skills, including interpreting and synthesizing report outputs
- Experience creating or leveraging AI/GPT-based tools for data analysis or productivity
- Experience facilitating Business Continuity Plan (BCP) review meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar)
- Experience supporting Information Security or Cybersecurity organizations
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, ISO)
Advanced proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
