We are hiring IT Field Technician’s to support our datacenter and clients in Corsicana, TX. This position is 100% onsite.

Work schedule: M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. + on-call rotation for some nights and weekeds

Job Description
As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining managed service customer computer networks. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met. You’ll work closely with customers and team members to achieve objectives, handle technical project work, and maintain daily operations. You will additionally be provided a personalized training plan that will assist in your professional development within this role.

Responsibilities:
Network Maintenance:

  • Regularly monitor and maintain customer computer networks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to address complex problems.

Customer Communication:

  • Interact with customers daily to understand their needs and address any concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships.

Project Work:

  • Periodically take on technical project assignments in addition to daily operational tasks.
  • Execute project plans efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Training and Certification:
  • Allocate time for ongoing technical training and certification.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Follow the training plan outlined by the company.

Time Logging:

  • Accurately log daily tasks and time spent on various activities.
  • Maintain detailed records for reporting purposes.

On-Site Support:

  • Travel to customer sites as needed to perform maintenance, installations, or repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during on-site visits.
  • After-Hours Support:
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for remote and on-site support outside regular business hours.
  • Be available to address urgent issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with network hardware, software, and protocols.
