The HT Group is partnering with a leading organization in the automotive industry to find an HR Manager! This person will be responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the HR functions within the division. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting and is well versed in building out and leading strategic business plans for a successful HR division. Experience in a fast-paced, every changing start up environment highly preferred.
*This is a growth created position for the company’s new plant facility. Location will be either East of Dallas or Central Texas Area (Austin/San Antonio). Candidate must be located in or open to relocate to the area. Full relocation package offered.*

Direct Hire
Comp: $100-$140k
Location: East of Dallas/Central Texas (Austin/San Antonio)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, direct, and improve HR functions within division
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are administered in adherence to company and customer requirements
- Participate in business plan development and strategic direction of the division
- Lead and direct environmental, health, and safety objectives
- Coach, mentor, or develop all members of the HR team, providing ongoing guidance and support
- Work with managers to develop a strategic recruiting and staffing program
- Develop training strategies and plans for employee and leadership development
- Maintain and develop compensation and recognition programs
- Maintain a high level knowledge in employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends
- Review payroll to ensure payroll function is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain an active involvement on the shop floor to promote positive employee relationships with all employees
- Handle conflict resolution between management and employees, promoting positive resolutions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience; minimum 5 years of experience in an advisory/leadership role
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field
- Experience establishing and directing HR policies, procedures, and objectives
- Experience in a manufacturing/plant setting required
- Experience working in a fast paced, startup environment highly preferred
- Experience with new facility start up highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop employees
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
