The HT Group is partnering with a top construction management firm to find a Business Development Executive for the Texas Market. This person will be responsible for developing and managing strategies to increase revenue by generating and managing leads, managing client accounts, and working closely with marketing. Core focus on developing construction services business within Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, and Pharmaceutical manufacturing markets.

Location: Must be located in Texas (Plano or surrounding areas highly preferred)
Compensation: Base of $170k+
Must be open to 40% travel
Construction industry required; experience with manufacturing facility construction projects highly preferred*
Responsibilities:
- Initiates introductions and meetings among engineering, operations, and procurement personnel
- Identifies essential customers, individuals, or organizations crucial for stronger partnerships, actively contributing to making these connections
- Ensures consistent lead generation through customer outreach and networking
- Devises and executes enduring strategies for managing client accounts
- Facilitates Sales meetings with leadership and assists in financial budgeting for sales/marketing
- Contributes to setting sales and revenue objectives
- Leads proposal effort, presenting final proposals to secure successful bids
- Develops cohesive plans in collaboration with Marketing leaders
- Researches industry trends, barriers to entry, key stakeholders, economic projections, and competitors
- Research potential clients, businesses, partners, etc., contributing to pursuit strategies
- Monitors company’s market share, aiding in devising growth strategies or expanding market share
- Constructs and delivers project development strategies to the leadership team
- Actively engages in the community through civic, professional, and philanthropic organizations
- Contributes to the development of budgets related to events, donations, and sponsorship
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of business/project development experience; AEC (architecture/engineering/construction industry)
- Experience with manufacturing construction projects highly preferred
- 40% travel is required for this role
- Proven track record of successfully developing, presenting, and executing market sector strategies
- Proven track record of successfully generating, qualifying, and managing leads
- Proven track record of successfully leading the proposal process
