Patient Support Representative

The HT Group has partnered with a Medical Company in North Austin near the Arboretum area and is hiring five new Patient Support Associates-Bilingual to add to their customer support team. The ideal candidate enjoys communicating with customers, is a quick learner, and has a committed work ethic.

Monday- Friday
8AM – 5PM
$20-25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Talks with patient by phone determine correct account information.
  • Determines charges and coverage for service requested and inserts data into information system.
  • Speak with patients concerning billing or service rendered
  • Updates patient’s records.
  • Talks with dissatisfied patients and coordinates the correction of the complaint and ensures service recovery.
  • Communicates with company’s patients that may be of various ages.
  • Provides clear description of issues escalated to Customer Service Representative team

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate practical knowledge of computers and software applicable to the industry.
  • Expected to demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (Mission, Vision, and Goal Statements) and department policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work a full 40 hour work week
  • Has the ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision.
