OCR (Java) Architect – 5/22

This position will perform as a Technical Architect and developer. This position is in a non-management role. It is a long-term assignment of 15 months, or longer if an extension is required.


Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity and the resume will not be submitted to the customer.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Experience in Java (including Java 8 and greater), JSP and JSF (including version 2.2) programming development
8 Required Experience in WebSphere development (Application & Portal Server versions 6 & greater; including version 9)
8 Required Experience in using Rational Application Developer including 9.5 or greater
8 Required Experience in IT and the application development life cycle
7 Required Experience in creating solutions, including expert working level knowledge of the processes and technologies for upgrading Java and WebSphere applications.
6 Required System design experience
5 Required Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios
5 Required Experience with GUI web design including use of CSS
5 Required Web services programming experience
5 Required Previous experience validating business requirements and design specifications with users
5 Required Experience in developing rigorous test case scenarios using UML or similar technology
5 Required Experience developing Accessible application systems that are Section 508 compliant
4 Required Experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development
4 Required Experience in Hibernate programming development
4 Required Experience with customer service
4 Required Experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools
3 Preferred Experience with state or federal government, or complex private sector organization
1 Preferred Knowledge of HHS agencies and technical environments.
