Marketing and Partner Sales

The HT Group is partnering with a UK-based software company that is marketing a suite of online services on a mission to revolutionize the independent accommodation sector. Our client partners with small independent B&Bs, Guesthouses, and Hotels in the UK, Europe, and the U.S. to make booking and managing guest accommodations a breeze. We are in search of a talented Marketing and Partnerships Manager to help support our client’s growth in the US. This company has regularly made the Times top 100 Tech Track index and the Travolution award for best technology.

responsibilities

  • Approach markets and prospective white label customers in order to showcase key advantages of our platform
  • Develop strong working relationships with network of partners in the industry that help our client increase brand recognition and acquisitions
  • Identify niche distribution partners to help sales team target a new segment
  • Grow an ecosystem of our clients’ partners with the collaboration of PMS APIs
  • Land deals with partners of overlapping industries that can enhance the platform, fill functionality gaps, or provide shared marketing databases
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and key events across all the regions in North America
  • Coordinate, oversee and participate joint events/PR with partners
  • Evaluate and analyze new market expansion opportunities as they arise

about you

  • 5+ years’ experience in developing key strategic partnerships with a history of driving revenue
  • Vacation rental, hotel or alternative lodging experience a must
  • Demonstrated experience in a software/ travel environment.
  • Proficient with office programmes (MS Word, PowerPoint Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook).
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, a high level of ambition for growth, and a demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, hard-working individual style to establish and achieve specific goals in a dynamic start-up environment with changing product and little oversight.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups of people.
  • Strong organizational skills and a clear thinker with the experience of building long term strategic partnerships
  • Excellent project management skills – proactive, programmatic, and forward-thinking in both planning and execution
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and to travel to Europe, if required for training.
