Business Development Manager

The HT Group is partnering with a company in Austin to find an outgoing and friendly Business Development Manager to support their growing business. We are in search of someone who connects quickly with prospective customers, understands the sales process, and is able to qualify prospects and move the relationship through the process. We are looking for someone who loves meeting strangers and is not afraid of rejection.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing their weekly/monthly sales activities
  • Supporting and mentoring
  • Helping close, negotiate, contract business
  • Ensure that marketing leads are funneled to them and that marketing meets their needs with sales tools including messaging and collateral

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years sales experience in the recruiting or staff augmentation industries
  • Deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Able to act with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel 10-20% of the time
  • Detail oriented, and able to keep CRM updated
